Study Of An Investigational Drug For Pd-L1 Positive Metastatic/Recurrent Head And Neck Cancer

Description

Seeking men and women aged 18 and older whose head and neck squamous cell carcinoma has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic), can't be treated with surgery or radiation, and has not yet been treated for cancer or has returned or got worse after being treated (recurrent) for a study of an investigational drug.

Overview

We are studying whether the investigational drug added to immunotherapy is better than immunotherapy alone for PD-L1 positive head and neck cancer that has spread to other parts of the body or has returned or got worse after treatment. Some participants will be randomly chosen to get the investigational drug, but all participants will get the immunotherapy.

What we're hoping for

Evaluate if an investigational drug used in combination with immunotherapy is better than just the immunotherapy alone for treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma that has spread to other parts of the body.
