Study Of Screening For Atrial Fibrillation To Reduce Risk Of Stroke In People 70 And Older

Description

Seeking men and women who are at least 70 years old for a study of whether screening for atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter using an investigational wearable device helps reduce the risk of stroke.

Overview

Participants in this trial will be randomly assigned wear a small investigational device stuck to their body with an adhesive patch to record your heart rhythm for 14 days in their home.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an investigational device to detect atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter helps to reduce the risk of stroke in people aged 70 and older.
