Description
Seeking men and women who have been hospitalized with the coronavirus COVID-19 for a study of an experimental drug.
Overview
We are studying whether the experimental drug can be safely used and if it improves people's health when they are sick with the COVID-19 coronavirus. The experimental treatment has been studied in animals and in people, but has not been studied for use yet in people who have COVID-19. Half of the people in this trial will get the experimental drug and half will get a drug that looks like the experimental drug but has no active medicine.
What we're hoping for
We hope that the experimental drug is safe for use and helps people hospitalized with the COVID-19 coronavirus recover.
