Investigational Drug Study For Ankylosing Spondylitis

Description

Seeking adults with Ankylosing Spondylitis, a chronic disease that causes bones in the hip and spine to erode, for a study of the effectiveness of an investigational drug in treating the disease

Overview

Volunteers will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational drug or a placebo (pill that has no active medication in it) for 16 weeks, after which all volunteers will receive the investigational drug for 32 weeks.

What we're hoping for

We hope to collect data that will show whether the investigational drug will reduce swelling and pain in the spine and hip joints and allow adult volunteers with Ankylosing Spondylitis keep up with their everyday activities
