Study Of An Investigational Drug Added Treatment For People With Heart Failure And Impaired Kidney Function

Description

Seeking people with chronic heart failure, impaired kidney function, and who have had a heart failure event in the past 6 months for a study of adding an investigational drug to the usual treatment to prevent complications from heart failure and impaired kidney function.

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to get either one of two different doses of the investigational drug combined with the usual medication or the usual medication alone. After 20 months, all participants will receive the usual treatment for the 4-week follow-up period. There are 13-16 study visits.

What we're hoping for

We are studying the effect of an investigational drug combination compared with the usual drug to treat heart failure for people with chronic heart failure, impaired kidney function, and who have had a heart failure event in the past 6 months.
