Study Of A Device To Screen People's Breath To Test For Diabetes

Description

People with and without diabetes are sought for a study of an investigational device to screen for diabetes control by measuring acetone in their breath.

Overview

We will measure acetone in people's breath to see if higher levels of acetone are as effective as measuring for higher levels of sugar in blood to screen for diabetes control.

What we're hoping for

We are hoping that measuring acetone in someone's breath using the investigational device will be an effective test for diabetes control so people won't have to screen by pricking their fingers to collect blood.
