Multi-Arm Optimization Of Stroke Thrombolysis (Most)

Description

Seeking men and women who are within the first few hours of experiencing an ischemic stroke (caused by a blood clot blocking blood flow to the brain) for a study comparing medication combinations to reduce the impact of the stroke.

Overview

All participants in this study will receive the standard treatment to help dissolve blood clots causing stroke. But some participants will also be given one of two blood-thinning medicines to see if adding these drugs to standard treatment is safe, if it helps keep blood vessels open, and if it helps decrease the impact of the stroke.

What we're hoping for

We want to know whether adding whether adding an additional medication to the standard post-stroke treatment is safe and if it will reduce the impact of the stroke.
