Study Of An Investigational Drug For Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer That Has Spread

Description

People with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread outside their lungs and whose tumor has a particular biomarker are sought for a study of an investigational drug.

Overview

We are studying the use of an investigational drug for non-small cell lung cancer tumors with biomarkers that are positive for either Loss of Heterozygosity (LOH) or BRCA 1/2. We want to assess whether using biomarkers to guide treatment and using the investigational drug will shrink the tumor and prevent it from returning.

What we're hoping for

We hope that using information from a lung tumor to decide what treatments should be used will lower the chance of lung cancer growing or spreading.
