Study To Assess The Comfort And Wear-Ability Of A Wireless Pressure Ulcer Prevention System

Description

Looking for healthy volunteers to give their opinion on the comfort and wear-ability of a wireless sensor placed on the bottom of their foot while they rest their foot on a soft surface for 1 hour. Nosotros hablamos espanol tambien.

Overview

We’re developing a Wireless Pressure Ulcer Sensor that may help prevent patients from getting a wound called a pressure ulcer (bed sore). The sensor sticks to the skin and monitors pressure, temperature, and moisture levels. In this study, healthy people will wear the sensor on their heel for 1 hour and then share their opinions with us. Compensation provided. Nosotros hablamos espanol tambien.

What we're hoping for

We hope to use volunteer's opinions to improve the wireless sensors so that they may be worn comfortably by people at risk of developing pressure ulcers (bed sores) on their skin
