Study Of An Investigational Drug For Previously Treated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Description

Seeking volunteers who received immunotherapy, but whose non-small cell lung cancer has spread outside their lungs and either their tumor sample biomarker does not match one of the open treatment studies or they were not a candidate for a biomarker-matched study for a study of an investigational drug combination.

Overview

This study is part of the Lung-MAP study. The purpose of this study is to compare the usual treatment to using an investigational drug combination to work with your immune system to fight your cancer to shrink your cancer. This study will help the study doctors find out if this different approach is better, the same, or worse than the usual approach. The study doctors hope to learn if the study drug combination will enable patients to live longer compared to the usual approach.

What we're hoping for

We are doing this study because we want to find out if combining two drugs that work with the immune system is better or worse than the approach most people get for lung cancer.
