Study Of An Investigational Device To Restore Blood Flow In The Brain For People Experiencing An Ischemic Stroke

Description

Seeking men and women who are within 8 hours of first experiencing the symptoms of a stroke caused when blood flow to the brain is blocked by a blood clot or fatty buildup (plaque) for a study of an investigational device to restore blood flow in the brain.

Overview

We are studying an investigational device that is implanted in the brain of a person who has recently suffered an ischemic stroke to see if it improves blood flow in the brain, can be used safely, and improves the patient's recovery.

What we're hoping for

We are hoping that the investigational device will improve blood flow in the brains of people who have recently suffered an ischemic stroke.
