Conquering Diseases

Study for Head and Neck Cancer

Description

This study is looking at different chemotherapy combinations along with radiation for the treatment for locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

Overview

The goal of this study is to learn which chemotherapy combination is more effective in treating locally advanced head and neck cancer when given with radiation. All patients will receive the same standard treatment radiation therapy.

What we're hoping for

We hope to find out which treatment is more effective and whether high or low amounts of a certain protein in tumors make treatments more or less effective.
