Study Of Whether An Experimental Device Decreases Pancreatic Cancer Cell Growth

Description

Seeking men and women with pancreatic cancer for a study of an experimental device used along with chemotherapy to evaluate whether it decreases cancer cell growth.

Overview

We are studying an experimental device that emits low intensity electric fields while taped to your body close to your cancer tumor. We will compare pancreatic cancer cell growth between people who get chemotherapy and people who get chemotherapy and wear the experimental device.

What we're hoping for

Evaluate whether wearing an experimental device that emits a low intensity electrical field along with standard chemotherapy decreases pancreatic cancer cell growth.
