Study Of Silent Strokes And Memory Loss After Stroke In Arcadia Trial Participants

Description

Seeking men and women who are participating in the ARCADIA stroke prevention trial for a study of the effect of the study drugs Apixaban and Aspirin on the occurrence of silent strokes and memory loss.

Overview

we will measure the occurrence of silent strokes (strokes that can be seen on brain imaging but that do not cause any symptoms) and the memory/cognition of study participants. Study participation is limited to people who are also participating in the ARCADIA stroke prevention trial.

What we're hoping for

Evaluate the effect of the study drugs Apixaban and Aspirin on the occurrence of silent strokes and memory loss for people participating in the ARCADIA stroke prevention trial
