Study Of An Investigational Drug On Growth And Pubertal Development In Children With Cystic Fibrosis

Description

Seeking children aged 5-16 years old who have cystic fibrosis for a study an investigational drug that has been shown to improve lung function and may also improve growth and pubertal development.

Overview

Volunteers in this study will come in for office visits every few months over a period of about 2 years so that researchers can assess their growth and pubertal development through evaluations that will include an x-ray of their hand to assess bone development, blood work, and a physical exam.

What we're hoping for

We hope to study whether an investigational drug used to improve lung function in children with cystic fibrosis also improves growth and pubertal development.
