Study Involving Clinical Patch Testing for Patients with Vitiligo.

Description

Seeking men & women who are 18 years or older who have been exposed to a chemical agent that has caused a skin condition called vitiligo, or worsened vitiligo/skin depigmentation (loss of skin color).

Overview

Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease of the skin that results in the development of white spots that spread and increase in number over time. This research study will use clinical patch testing on patients skin to see their skin’s response to chemical allergens as well as chemicals that may be capable of worsening vitiligo.

What we're hoping for

The comparative analysis in this study may lead to identification of specific chemicals that are responsible for the recent worsening of your vitiligo.
