Experimental Treatment With Convalescent Plasma For Patients With Covid-19

Description

Seeking people aged 12 and older who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 for an experimental treatment made from blood donated by people who have recovered from COVID-19.

Overview

Participants will receive plasma, the liquid portion of blood donated from people who have recovered from COVID-19. This donated blood treatment is known as convalescent plasma. We will evaluate whether the antibodies in the convalescent plasma help people who are sick with COVID-19 recover better.

What we're hoping for

Evaluate whether an experimental treatment known as convalescent plasma made from blood donated by people who have recovered from COVID-19 improves the recovery of people aged 12 and older who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
