Study Of Early Detection And Prevention Of Pancreatic Cancer

Description

Seeking men and women at risk for pancreatic cancer due to family or personal history willing to participate in an detection and prevention study.

Overview

We are collecting blood samples, and information from medical records from people at risk for pancreatic cancer. Study visits will be scheduled at the same time as typical pancreatic cancer screening visits. Participants will also be asked if they are willing to provide additional biopsy samples if a biopsy would normally be done as part of their clinical care. One sample collected from blood, saliva or a cheek swab would be sent for DNA and RNA analysis.

What we're hoping for

We hope to collect information from people at risk for pancreatic cancer that will help inform early detection and prevention of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
