Study Of An Investigational Drug To Prevent Hospitalization For People Newly Diagnosed With Covid-19

Description

Seeking men and women who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days and within 7 days of first experiencing COVID symptoms for a study of an investigational drug.

Overview

We are studying whether an investigational drug helps to keep people newly diagnosed with COVID-19 from getting so ill that they need to go to the hospital for treatment. Participants in this trial will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational drug or a placebo (looks like the drug but contains no medication).

What we're hoping for

We hope to evaluate whether the investigational drug is effective in preventing people who have COVID-19 from becoming so ill that they need to go to the hospital for treatment.
