Study Of An Investigational Device For Heart Failure

Description

Seeking men and women with heart failure due to a dilated left ventricle (heart chamber that pumps blood) for a study of an investigational device.

Overview

Participants in this study will either have the investigational device implanted or not. Everyone will continue to take their usual heart failure medications. After 24 months, participants who did not have the investigational device implanted initially will have the opportunity to have the device implanted if they choose to do so.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an investigational device implanted is safe and effective compared to heart failure medications alone for people with heart failure.
