Registry Of Fecal Microbiota Transplantation Or Other Gut Microbial Therapies

Description

Seeking men and women who have received fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) or other gut microbial therapies or their specimen donors for a registry to study the short and long-term safety and effectiveness of FMT.

Overview

Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) recipient participants will have 4 follow-up study visits at 30 days, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years following transplant. Both donor and recipient participants will have their medical history followed for 10 years.

What we're hoping for

We are studying the health of Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) recipients and donors for up to 10 years after donation to assess the safety of the procedure and establish best practices.
