Study Of An Investigational Health Monitoring Device For Chronic Health Conditions

Description

Seeking men and women who get their care at UMass Memorial for a chronic health condition such as heart disease, diabetes or kidney disease for a study of an investigational device embedded in a toilet seat to remotely monitor cardiac health.

Overview

Participants in this study will have the investigational toilet seat installed in their home for up to a year. The toilet seat has a weight limit of 350 pounds. The toilet seat needs to be linked to the participant's wifi.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an investigational device within a toilet seat is effective in remotely monitoring the cardiac health of people with chronic health conditions in their own home.
