Study Of An Investigational Vaccine Against Epstein Barr Virus

Description

Seeking healthy men and women volunteers aged 18-55 for a study of an investigational vaccine against Epstein Barr Virus which is the main cause of mononucleosis.

Overview

Participants in this study will receive either one of four doses of the investigational vaccine or a placebo (looks like the vaccine but contains no medicine). The vaccine or placebo will be administered as three shots over a period of 6 months. There will be up to 10 office visits and 6 phone visits for the study over 13 months.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an investigational vaccine is safe and effective in preventing infection with Epstein Barr Virus (EBV)
