Registry To Collect Information About Antiphospholipid Syndrome

Description

Seeking adults who have tested positive for antiphospholipid antibodies in their blood or have been diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome for a registry to collect their health information over 10 years to better understand how to prevent, treat, and cure antiphospholipid antibody-associated health conditions.

Overview

Participants in this registry will have 11 annual study visits and 10 phone interviews over a period of 10 years. The first (baseline) visit can take 30-60 minutes. The rest of the study visits are expected to last 20 - 30 minutes and phone interviews 5 minutes. If you develop a new clot during the study period, you will be asked to complete an extra study visit, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Your visits can take at the same time of your routine doctor visits.

What we're hoping for

We are collecting health information from adults aged 18-75 who have antiphospholipid antibodies in their blood or have been diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome to better understand antiphospholipid antibody-associated health conditions.
