Description

Seeking boys aged 8-12 with no history of fragility fractures and boys aged 12-16 with a history of fragility fractures for a study of an investigational drug to prevent muscle and bone weakness due to Duchene Muscular Dystrophy

Overview

All participants in this study will receive the investigational drug. There will be 12 study visits over the 2-year trial. Study visits may last 4-8 hours. After the first 5 study drug injections at the clinic, participants and their parent/caretaker will be taught how they can do the injections themselves.

What we're hoping for

We are studying if a drug that has been approved for use in other diseases is safe and effective in improving muscle and bone strength for boys aged 8-16 with Duchene Muscular Dystropy.
