Study Of An Investigational Cell Therapy For Severe Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Or Systemic Sclerosis

Description

Seeking adults with severe systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus), idiopathic inflammatory myopathy or systemic sclerosis for a study of an investigational cell therapy where your own cells are used to make the investigational drug which will then be infused back into participants.

Overview

Participants in this study will have their blood cells collected and used to make the investigational drug. While the investigational drug is being made, participant's doctors may give them corticosteroid therapy to control their lupus if needed. When the investigational drug is infused into the patient, there will be a 2-week hospital stay so they can be monitored for safety.

What we're hoping for

We are studying an investigational cell therapy using a person's own cells to make the investigational drug is safe and effective for Lupus or Systemic Sclerosis that has not responded to steroids and at least two prior immunosuppressive therapies.
