Study Surveying Mothers Of Pre-Term Infants Staying At Umass Memorial Hospital

Description

Seeking mothers of preterm (less than 34 weeks gestation) infants who have been admitted to the UMass Memorial Health Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a survey study.

Overview

Participants in this study will be asked to complete an online survey of any barriers they might experience to visiting with their babies while they are in the hospital and a questionnaire about mother and baby bonding. It should not take more than an hour to complete the survey and questionnaire.

What we're hoping for

We are surveying mothers of pre-term infants born before 34 weeks gestation and admitted to the UMass Memorial Health Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to better understand any bonding barriers and how it affects baby and mother's health.
