Study Of An Investigational Smartphone App For Schizophrenia

Description

Seeking men and women with schizophrenia for a study of an investigational smartphone app accessed daily for interactive lessons, guidance on practicing new skills (e.g., relaxation, positive thinking, being social), setting of personal goals, mood check-ins, and completion of educational activities.

Overview

Participants will use the smartphone app for at least 16 weeks (4 months) which could be extended to 32 weeks (8 months). There are study visits every 8 weeks (2 months) for a year. Participants will continue their typical care including medications and behavioral therapy during the study.

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether an investigational smartphone app is safe and effective in improving quality of life for adults with schizophrenia.
