Description
This study is looking at an experimental treatment for patients with anal cancer who have been treated with standard chemotherapy and radiation.
Overview
The purpose of this study is to find if adding the study drug after standard chemotherapy and radiation will prevent anal cancer from returning after treatment. This study will allow researchers to find out whether this different treatment is better, the same, or worse than the usual treatment for anal cancer. Patients will be randomly assigned to receive the study drug or standard of care observation.
What we're hoping for
We hope to learn if the study drug helps anal cancer from coming back and if its side effects are well tolerated.
