Use Of Software To Predict Whether A Medical Device Blocks The Flow Of Blood To A Brain Aneurysm

Description

Seeking men and women with a brain aneurysm treated with a medical device called a Flow Diverter to slow the flow of blood into the aneurysm to see how well a software helps a doctor predict if the aneurysm will get smaller and blood flow becomes fully blocked over a year.

Overview

We are studying how well an investigational software can help doctors predict whether blood flow to an aneurysm will be blocked a year after being treated with a flow diverter. Participation would add two additional x-ray scans 6 and 12 months after your procedure to check the size of the aneurysm.

What we're hoping for

We hope to evaluate how well a software helps a doctor predict if a brain aneurysm treated with a Flow Diverter medical device will get smaller and fully block blood flow over a year
