Study Of An Investigational Drug For Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Description

Seeking boys aged 7, 8, or 9 who have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and are ambulatory for a study of an investigational drug.

Overview

Participants will receive either one of two different doses of the investigational drug or a placebo (looks like the investigational drug but contains no medicine) taken daily for 12 weeks. There will be up to 5 study visits over 16 weeks.

What we're hoping for

We are studying two different doses of an investigational drug taken by mouth daily compared to placebo (looks like the investigational drug but contains no medicine) to prevent muscle weakness in boys aged 7, 8 or 9 years old.
