Study Of A Diagnostic Test For Metastatic Disease For People With Gastroesophageal Cancer

Description

Seeking people with confirmed gastric, esophageal or gastroesophageal malignancy undergoing a cancer stage evaluation to plan treatment for a study of an diagnostic test for metastatic disease.

Overview

Participants in this study will have a screening visit, a visit to have the PET Scan with the investigational contrast drug and a follow-up visit. The investigational PET scan would be in addition to the PET scan done as part of usual care. There are up to 4 study visits and a phone call over 3 months.

What we're hoping for

We are studying if an investigational positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scan with a investigational contrast agent can detect the spread of cancer for people with gastric or esophageal cancer to help with treatment planning.
