Study Of An Investigational Drug For Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

Description

Seeking men and women whose multiple sclerosis has not relapsed in the past two years for a study of an investigational drug to delay disability progression for secondary progressive multiple sclerosis

Overview

Participants in this study will be randomly assigned to get either the investigational drug tablet or a placebo (looks like the investigational drug but contains no medicine). There are 7 office visits in the first 3 months, then once every three months for up to 5 years for the core part of the study. Office visits may take 4 to 6 hours. Once the core part of the study is done, there is an extension part of the study where all participants will get the investigational drug for up to 3 years

What we're hoping for

We are studying whether and investigational drug is safe and effective in delaying disability for people with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis who have not had a relapse in the past two years
